While on keto for 5 years my muscle mass was flat. I changed to 40% healthy carbs mainly lentils, beans, berries, kiwi and potatoes 40% protein mainly from beef and whey protein and 20% fats. These macros recomped my muscles mass and improved my mood, sleep and competitive running. Getting out of the keto cult I now enjoy food again. This was my experience as a 64 year competitive runner and lifter
My hummus recipe if anyone is interested 😁 Canned chick peas - 14.5oz Tahini - 3.5oz Avocado oil - 2oz Garlic paste - 2oz Lime juice - .3 cup Water - .75 cup (or to desired consistency) Salt to taste
