As a Turkish person for whom yoghurt is a staple in her diet from birth, I was surprised to hear that yoghurt is in this list. And then I saw that Dr. Ekberg is against the sweet, fruity yoghurt in the supermarkets. I met them abroad for the first time in my life, tasted it and felt nauseous due to the extrem sugar in them. I knew only my mom's homemade yoghurt back in Turkiye. It's one of the best snacks or side dish you can have. Very fulfilling, filling and refreshing at the same time.
As someone who has gone for a 12.9 A1C 2 years ago to 5.5 the past 18 months I'm pretty much full Keto. As someone who doesn't eat any sugar and primarily stays away from artificial sweeteners as well, I eat a few cashews or pistachios daily so that I get a few carbs. Even a handful won't spike my blood sugar when consumed with a decent portion of lean meat or eggs. Fantastic summary though, while it's a long video you cover almost everything someone needs to know to get started working towards reversing insulin resistance!!! Kudos and thank you!
