Santa ate too many carbs
Long turm fasting cured life long allergies, that was something Dr's and hundreds of shots and thousands of pills and eye drops could not do. But Keto and fasting and long term fasting did. Also dramatically increased salt intake and drop the snake venom pills and my blood pressure is fine. Keto has changed my life.
Ive read that if we ate excess protein, it can cause weight gain. ""if you eat more calories than your body body needs, regardless of the source (including protein), the excess calories will be stored as fat, causing weight gain""
Liver King light........ In the right context he's not wrong about a lot he's saying here, but i've seen his other stuff and just can not take Saladino serious. One thing blatantly wrong here is that there are no fasting protocols made to trigger MTOR. Fasting reduces MTOR signalling in all cases. Obviously the intake of protein during the feeding part is going to Trigger MTOR, but the fasting benefit in part comes from not continuesly having MTOR actitvated. No MTOR at all also is not good, you need it for healthspan and longevity as well. It's a lot more nuanced and not as black and white. Dose and exposure matter as with all things
The methionine restriction science is very strong

A prime example is Nick Bare and when he was hit by a car while running last week. He was back up and running a few days later. Muscle helped save his life. GREAT VIDEO!
