We like a video on how to grow broccoli sprouts
This is a wonderful video that also helps diabetic persons who had to take the medicament against insulin resistance.
In this video, the speaker outlines a comprehensive plan for managing weight loss while taking OIC (likely referring to a GLP-1 agonist like Ozempic or Wegovy). The focus is on maintaining nutrient intake, protecting muscle and bone density, and optimizing overall health. Here are the key points: 1. **Broccoli Sprouts**: Highly nutrient-dense, they provide sulfurane, which supports liver function and activates the Nrf2 pathway, aiding metabolism and detoxification. 2. **Multivitamin**: Recommended to prevent micronutrient deficiencies, especially when appetite is reduced. 3. **Vitamin D3 and K2**: Essential for bone health, especially important during calorie restriction to prevent bone density loss. 4. **Protein Intake**: Aim for 0.8 to 1g of protein per pound of body weight, focusing on nutrient-dense sources like eggs, beef, and fish. Collagen-rich foods like ground beef are also beneficial. 5. **Whey Protein**: Can boost GLP-1 levels temporarily, helping with satiety and better food choices. 6. **Hormone Optimization**: Support testosterone levels with sunlight, zinc, magnesium, and foods like eggs and fatty fish. Supplements like Tongkat Ali may also help. 7. **Creatine and TMG**: Help maintain strength and muscle mass during calorie restriction. Creatine may cause water retention but supports muscle preservation. 8. **DPP4 Inhibitors**: Foods like beans, berries, citrus peel, and supplements like Moringa and Sacha Inchi can prolong GLP-1 activity, enhancing appetite suppression. 9. **Resistance Training**: Prioritize strength training over cardio to maintain muscle mass and bone density. 10. **Collagen and Colostrum**: Support connective tissue and gut health, which can be compromised during calorie restriction. 11. **Heat Shock Proteins**: Activities like sauna, hot baths, or infrared saunas can help preserve muscle by increasing growth hormone and creating a favorable environment for muscle retention. 12. **Walking**: Swap intense cardio for walking to increase non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) and support fat burning without excessive strain. The speaker emphasizes the importance of maintaining muscle, bone density, and overall health while on OIC, rather than just focusing on weight loss. They also encourage viewers to comment and subscribe to support the channel.
Thanks for the broccoli sprout idea!
Small whey protein drink before a dinner to help make better decisions. That’s awesome
Thank you. I subscribed. I am almost 57 and have been healthy most of my life. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto and a low thyroid a couple years ago. Add menopause, and I’ve never felt worse. Recently I started Ozempic after my daughter, a pharmacist, told me that it’s been shown to help with Hashimoto’s. I am on a low dose weekly injection and I feel like my active old self. I already practice much of what you mentioned. I walk tons and do light weightlifting as I watch (and lift) my grandson full time while my daughter works. My grandson and I are going to go buy the broccoli sprouts today. It’s refreshing to listen to you as it’s very hard to navigate through all the junk online associated with this medication. I feel much better since my primary doctor had no issue with me on the medication and he’s a medical director of a large medical group here in the area. Thanks again!
I love Thomas and his sprouts 💪🏿
To support hormones, I recommend injecting test.
I’m thankful for the broccoli sprout suggestion. 👍👍
