Wow, Nsima's perspective shift is fascinating! 💪 It’s rare to see someone so deeply ingrained in strength training actually challenge conventional wisdom and evolve their approach. The fact that he’s open to reevaluating his stance on both training methodologies and nutrition speaks volumes about his commitment to real progress rather than just sticking to dogma. I’d love to hear more about what specific training principles changed his mind the most—was it about volume, intensity, or recovery? And in terms of diet, did he find certain foods or macros made a dramatic difference in his performance and recovery? This kind of discussion is gold for anyone serious about strength and longevity. Huge respect for Nsima for always questioning and refining his approach! 🔥

Love your channel and questions and thought processes. You do health with zero politics and so you rise above the shame. Sure you might get something wrong but you always correct yourself. So cool, that's a badass trait

Super cool topics and Guest. No discussion here about the belly/abs and what happens when you receive a strike to that area while breathing….the most detailed book I’ve read about this includes the idea of pushing out the abs during inhaling to prevent a KO shot. Some of the best fighters (Bas Rutten for one) time their body shots to your breath. Taking it even further during rolling some people will go knee on belly or elbow to gut to distress/tire their opponents. Correct breath work and core alignment allows for natural defense.
